Favorite job before real estate?

Back in Mexico City, where I grew up, I had the opportunity to work at an indoor cycling gym, where I was the first person to greet clients as they came in every morning before their class. I got to meet some wonderful people that, besides being very cool and kind to me, also taught me something with their dedication towards their cycling classes. Seeing people get to a 6 AM workout is inspiring! Eventually, I started joining the classes as well!

What do you think about when you think about home?

Literal home for me would be Mexico City, as my entire family, parents and siblings included, live there. But, you know how when you’re about to go on vacation you don’t ever want to go back home? I’ve had the pleasure of living in some cool places that I actually get excited to be back in when I’m done with a vacation. That’s what I would call home, the place where you can feel inspired to keep moving forward in life. My favorite place I’ve lived at, and what I call home, is Tiburon, especially doing the drive next to the water going to Downtown! Pure bliss.

Your weirdest quirk?

I care a lot about the towels I use after showering or going in the pool. I’ve always had huge towels from one specific brand in Mexico called La Josefina. Also, I would rather put a towel on the floor next to the shower rather than a rug; my feet getting dry and my floor staying dry is important!

Best place you have ever visited?

Yosemite in the winter! I was lucky to go with lifelong friends on a road trip through California in the winter and Yosemite was definitely the place that stuck with me the most. The snow, the huge mountains surrounding the valley, and the mist that the snow created throughout the entire valley. Seriously heavenly!

What is your why?

Everything I do, I do to make my younger self proud. I always wanted to have a life somewhere away from Mexico City, explore the world and see what it has to offer. Now, with this opportunity at Marks Realty Group, I have the chance to create that life for myself, and that’s my number one driver. This is something my younger self wouldn’t even believe I’m doing, and I can’t wait to keep building on it.
